Welcome to our Club!

We welcome girls from P1 to P7, from any school and from complete beginners to those with a bit of previous playing experience. Our ethos is Teamwork, Respect and Fun!

We train on Sundays at 1pm at the Stewart Melville Rugby Club on Ferry Road, Edinburgh.

Rugby is a great way to make new friends and to learn how to work as a team and our focus is on learning the fundamentals of rugby through fun games. We start with Touch Rugby for the younger ones with no contact or tackling – it’s all about running, passing, catching, co-ordination and enjoying participation. From P4 we continue this and introduce Contact Tackling in a controlled and safe manner, along with developing set piece play which builds confidence and a great sense of being part of a team. At all stages the key is to ensure the children are enjoying the game whilst having fun with their friends.

Whether you are tall or small, fast or strong or have never picked up a rugby ball before there will be a place for you in our team – come and find out!
